BullBbq Grill Grate’s are exciting. It is refreshing
to cook on your backyard once in a while with the family gathering and chatting
around. As the summer has approached it
is the time to enjoy the outdoor with some scrumptious food cooking on the BBQ.
While BBQs are fun cleaning afterwards is a painful task. The grease clings to
the grate and carbon residues gathered on the underside of the hood.
There
is both right and wrong ways of cleaning a BBQ grill. The right way is simple and easy, while the wrong method
usually leads to damaging the equipment, its aluminum coating and painting.
Harmful chemicals leave harmful residue that affects the taste of the food. It
also emits dangerous fumes that can cause several health complaints.
The
best time to clean a BBQ when it is still hot. But it might not always be
possible to clean right after you complete cooking. In that case, just brush off the big particles
with a brush.
To
clean a gas BBQ all you need is a
good cleaning brush, a bucket of soapy water, a sponge and another bucket to
collect the debris. If the residues have got stuck on the grate you can take an
old pie tin, fill it with water, place it on the oven and bring it to boil. The
steam will loosen up the dirt. You can then easily clean it with a brush.
·
To begin cleaning, turn
off all the burners and remove the propane tank.
·
Remove the grate and
the metal plates underneath and put them in a bucket full of soapy water. Then
clean the burner protectors the same way i.e. by rubbing them with a sponge.
·
Clean the inside of the
hood with a sponge or scrapper.
·
Placed all the removed
parts back in the oven.
After
the cleaning the burner will look as good as new.
